Structural Component Molding: The housing is manufactured using micro-foaming or high-precision injection molding; flatness must be controlled within 0.1mm, and the mating clearance at the interface (rabbet) must be 0.15–0.2mm to prevent snagging while ensuring secure fastening; mold surfaces are polished to an 800-grit finish to balance bonding strength with aesthetic quality.
Sealing and Waterproofing: Water tanks and dust bins typically utilize UV ​​adhesive or ultrasonic welding, requiring a finish free of bubbles, adhesive overflow, or gaps; the complete unit must meet an IPX5 or higher waterproof rating and remain leak-free after salt spray testing and high/low-temperature cycling (-10°C to 50°C).
Assembly Precision: Modular assembly tolerances must be less than 0.05mm to ensure a consistent gap (typically 8–12mm) between the floor and the roller/side brushes; high coaxiality is required between the motor and the transmission mechanism to keep operating noise below 60dB.
Electrical and Safety: Battery packs must feature multiple protections against overcharge, over-discharge, and short circuits, with wiring layouts complying with safety clearance standards; response time for drop and cliff sensors must be under 100ms to prevent damage from falls.
